Lidl wants to be at the forefront of e-stores in Poland.

The company does not plan to sell food online yet, but it does not rule out this in the future. The problem is high costs of such activity. The company has previously launched a website with alcohol. The network has been developing e-commerce projects for two years. In 2017, the company implemented the Lidl Vineyard, a platform that allows customers to reserve alcohol on the Internet (their collection takes place in a stationary store) and the Lidl Travel website with tourist offers. Last year, the discounted network has already hired an e-commerce manager for Poland.
